Have you played around with ZardxGreninja deck yet..it’s definitely not the best version of Zard but it’s a fun one to play would love to see how you would run it compared to what I’ve seen

I’ve got a hard control charizard deck that got me to arceus last meta and got me to master so far that I haven’t seen anyone use.

I still think Charizard is done, 2 of the strongest decks run Tealmask Ogerpon or Dragapult, which one shots Charizard or destroy the bench with Dragapults attack, and then there´s Lugia with Wellspring and Cinccino

Can I still use any of this deck for 2024 rotation?

Try Schemanske’s build from NAIC. It looks odd without the chinchillas but man, it’s really good and a little more aggressive.

Just leraning charizard ex on tcg online, thinking on bulding a real one to play on my locals. I think it is a pretty begginer friendly deck, kinda cool to use. Most of the time that I lose with it it is because of a misplay on my part.

Wouldn't Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex be a better choice to Radiant Charizard? Asking for a friend 😅

Yes Anyway I play Chien Pao w/ Palkia Vstar because it really fast compared to Zard,Dragapult and Greninja and it has unlimited damage

My LCS does this with both standard and glc it made it so much easier to get into the game, I bought a lost box deck and a fairy glc deck my first time in the shop 10 months ago and it made me want to invest in my local pokemon scene more. I've been going there to play whenever I have free time lol

On the website I can't find anything or a 60 card deck at all... all I see are singles or I'm I looking in the wrong place?

I too started the Pokémon TCG with the original battle academy. 4 years later i have multiple meta and home brew decks with one deck being a bling out lugia VSTAR and an empty wallet 😅

I like card hunting but once my three favorite stores don’t have it I kinda have to wait a week to check again or I get it on TCG Player. I still prefer irl buying the card though. And I didn’t know Canada had it so tough with online prices because I also wouldn’t trust eBay. I think buying a whole deck would be awesome for a lot of people and get more people playing the game since if you just start, collecting 60 cards fast is very daunting.

I source and look for nothing but meta cards when I’m buying collections or bulk to resell. My TCGPlayer store is only meta/deck building cards. It really is a good business idea. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Seeing as how I found you by looking at your videos of how to upgrade those league battle decks. I figured someone (even yourself) get into the business of selling these upgraded decks. Or even just the pieces that are missing as an upgrade pack.

Where are you from? I’m from the Dominican Republic and it’s pretty common here to have a courtier in the US for things like Amazon and TcgPlayer. We do pay a bit more based on the weight of the article but not even close to the international shipping fee

Whenever you click on that link from Limitless the price on TCG Player is always insane, but you can click on “optimize” and it will find the cheapest combination of cards and shipping that meet your parameters (new, lightly played, etc.). This will give you 3 cart options with varying vendor trust levels. This brought Gardevoir from $116 to $56. The shipping from all the various vendors is what really ads up when using TCG Player, but it can be easier than running around town, hoping your LCS has what you need.

French here. Recently made my first deck (Miraidon ex), and in Europe we have Cardmarket, which is a similar platform to TCGplayer. So for most of the trainers I needed, I just bought singles, and try to find where can I get most cards on a single place, so I can lower shipping fees as much as possible (although Arven was a bit harder to get because many sellers only had one copy).

I try to buy singles from my FLGS a often as possible. I live in the states and try to avoid TCGPlayer as often as I can. When you buy cards from there and you just outright buy the full 60 card deck you are usually buying cards from a few different companies. This has led me to waiting for anywhere from 5-8 different packages at once. Also, the USPS is far from effective and will lose envelopes for weeks or sometimes months. 2 weeks ago I got 2 Pokestops in the mail that I ordered back in April.

Hopefully Darkside will have affordable shipping (especially for us Canadians eh). Another tip i would give is, buy an ETB and/or go to a pre release...great way to get playable cards for a variety of deck options. But i love the league battle decks, Mew, Miraidon and Gardevoir were an excellent foundation for a meta level upgrade...and lots of good playable cards for other decks.

I noticed a pattern with deluxe battle decks and EXB decks. Whatever the deluxe battle decks type is, they will make the next EXB deck, the same type.
